Happy November!

Let’s talk about HOLIDAYS and the entire holiday season.  What is so special about the last 3 months of the year?  Is it the candy on Halloween?  Is it the extra pounds gained on Thanksgiving Day?  Is it the extra present received on Christmas Day?  I think it’s  probably NONE of these things.  So what is it?

à It’s the traditions of parties, gatherings, events, people, and time spent with    people we love.
à It’s the anticipation of what the future holds.
à It’s the memories of the past and the  future memories yet to be created.
à It’s the smell of the candles burning and the food cooking.
à It’s the time spent in the kitchen preparing the meals and the treats for your family & your friends.
à It’s the joy we see in our children eyes!
à It’s the time off work that we spend with our family and friends.
à It’s the annual football games both on TV and in person.
à It’s the scary movies on Halloween, and the favorite Christmas movies.

The list could go on and on but the point is, there are a lot of great things that make this time of year special and I enjoy every bit of it.  Halloween has come and gone and what a great time it was.  Now it’s time to dig in to the outside Christmas gear and make sure the pieces are still there and working.  November is the time to get to your favorite Christmas store and add to that outdoor collection and make sure you give your family and others something great to see each night throughout the season.  May God bless each of you and may you have a safe and Happy Thanksgiving with friends and family!

Thanks for reading!

Aaron
